NATIONAL PROGRAMS
The LAA runs a series of national programmes encompassing Friends of the LAA: National dinner, breakfast and seminar meetings: Smart Conference, Dispatch Newsletter and e-bulletin, Mentoring, Global Spectrum International speaker series, Network LAA, Logistics Research Program, Logistics Development Award and University Scholarships

Australian Institute of Traffic Planning and Management Inc. (AITPM)

The Australian Institute of Traffic Planning and Management Incorporated (AITPM) provides a central point of reference for practitioners in traffic and transport planning and management. Members of the Institute are linked primarily by a common vocational interest rather than by similar academic qualifications alone.
Traffic Planning and Management is an integrated activity involving traffic management and operations, transport planning, economics, freight, road safety and sustainable transport. The AITPM network is extensive, with its underlying strength being its own membership. The Institute now has over 550 members and corporate members across Australia and New Zealand.
The Institute’s mission is to grow traffic and transport skills and knowledge to deliver sustainable transport. The aims of the Institute are to advance traffic and transport planning and management; to increase the knowledge of its members by encouraging free discussion, exchange of ideas and research in this field.

APICS is a non-profit organisation that facilitates the exchange and advancement of practical knowledge, ideas and techniques in the field of supply chain. APICS’s goal is to continue to set the standard in resource management and to provide the best supply chain education.

Having served the profession for forty years in various forms, most recently as the Logistics Association of Australia, the SCLAA embraces its proud history and benefits from its experience and established relationships. However, now is the time to look forward with a fresh national vision.
The SCLAA is a registered company, limited by guarantee with an experienced Board of Directors and is proud that its activities are conducted nationally and via State Divisions, in accordance with the wishes of its Members. It is a true Member based, not-for-profit association whose proceeds are channelled back into Member benefits
